  • Follow up consultation £50 (Recommended up to 12 months after initial consultation)

Please note: The consultation is private (not available on the NHS). We are registered with WPA insurance, but for other insurers please check with your provider. Regarding blood tests: After the initial consultation we will try to liaise with either your GP (or an NHS specialist) if the hair loss is likely to be due to medical issues. In some cases NHS GP’s can refuse to perform blood tests as they do not see the problem as being serious enough, although we will argue contrary, the doctor has the final say and we may have to perform blood tests privately to get the information we require to confirm the diagnosis. Genetic hair loss is not treatable on the NHS, but all other hair loss problems are usually caused by an underlying medical disorder that is covered in the NHS treatment guidelines.
